Magicmaker

Magicmaker is a fun platformer that comes with a solid spell crafting system which will allow you to experiment and combine lots of different elements in order to create unique spells to dispose of your enemies.

In Magicmaker you take the role of a security guard at the Dorwall Community College, a famous school for wizards. While your daily job might not be such a burden for your magic powers, suddenly, you find out that a mysterious individual has appeared on the campus' grounds. Now it's your job to investigate the sightings and protect your colleagues.

Before reaching the college, you will encounter a few characters that will explain the basics of spell crafting and how can you combine various materials to get unique effects.

The most important aspect and the one that definitely stands out in Magicmaker is the awesome spell crafting system. As you progress throughout the story killing monsters and solving quests, you will find various materials which can be used to create any type of spell you can think of.

There are 40 different materials out there, each with their own unique properties that differ if used on spells, robes or wands.

For example, you can use Bouncy Balls to make your spells bounce of walls, while using the same item on your robe will allow you to bounce off surfaces when crouching. The same goes of the Evercold Ice elements, which adds a slow effect to enemy movements when used in a spell, while on a robe will create a damage absorbing shield.

These are only two examples of what different elements can do when used on spells or other items but, keep in mind that you will be able to use up to four of these elements in a single massive spell.

Also, the elements come in five different grades, from F to A, making spells even more powerful if you're using the best materials.

All in all Magicmaker will provide a unique platforming adventure thanks to its extensive crafting system that gives you a wide range of options when it comes to your character's spells, robes, wands, etc.
