Avorion

Avorion is a sandbox simulation game in which you get to explore a vast galaxy far away from the one we live in. You can choose to explore this galaxy alone or alongside your friends via an online server.

The game's entire content is randomly generated, so you won't be exploring the same galaxy over and over again and no sector will look similar with what you've seen before unless you want to continue a previously saved game.

That being said, you're ready to start on an epic adventure through the dark and dangerous sectors of space. Before getting to command your own spaceship, you will start with a small drone capable of mining nearby asteroids for resources.

During gameplay you will encounter various types of asteroids that can hold one of the nine precious resources available in the game, with the last one, conveniently called Avorion, being the hardest to get, but also the toughest material available to build your spaceship.

After gathering enough resources to build building your first spaceship, you're ready to do pretty much whatever you want whether this means mining for more resources to improve your ship or build a larger, more powerful one, exploring other sectors and see if you can find any traces of life, trade goods or engage in battles against pirates.

The game also features a multiplayer component that gives you the opportunity to host your own server where you can play alongside your friends or even one against the other. The servers can also be made public for others to join in.

Playing Avorion with your friends can also add up to the fun when you team up to destroy evil factions or just compete against each other.
