What's new in Lumiette 0.25 Alpha

  • New Difficulty Settings:
  • From the Settings panel, you may also now choose between three difficulty settings (from easiest to hardest): Journalist, Normal, and Transcendent.
  • Showcasing the difference between the easiest and hardest difficulties
  • Preview of Stage Two:
  • Lumiette v0.25a also contains the beginning of the second stage, where you are quickly tested by the mysterious Harper.
  • There are quite a bit of new stuff in v0.25a. I hope that you check it out whether you have played older alpha builds or if you stumbled onto this game from the itch.io Fresh Games section. Again, I want to thank you all for checking out Lumiette and I hope to have even more for you guys not too much longer from now!

New in Lumiette 0.027 Alpha (Feb 4, 2019)

  • BulletML + Object Pool integration: This should alleviate performance issues by minimizing the amount of Garbage Collection that the Unity Engine has to do, which hopefully will increase and/or stabilize frame rates for that player's experience.
  • Changes to Lumiette's rate of fire: The rate of fire should be more consistent across different machines. Before, the player's rate of fire was throttled by that player's frame rate, which adversely affected the quality and difficulty of the game on older machines. This won't improve that player's frame rate, but it should make playing the game feel a lot less junky.
