Idle Master
Get Steam Trading Cards without actually playing the games by using this lightweight tool #Get trading cards #Steam trading cards #Get trading card #Steam #Trading #Card
Steam is quite the leviathan when it comes to games and gaming. It’s a gateway that offers not only games but tons of other content, activities and items to enjoy. Some of them are the Trading Cards that you can collect by playing certain games that are delivered through Steam.
Once you gather enough, these can be transformed into game badges that earn you Steam profile XP and help you level up. Of course, that’s not all; they also grant you access to other items and feature upgrades. Collecting them, however, can take a bit of time and that’s why Idle Master was created.
Idle Master is a lightweight and very practical tool that enables you to ‘cheat’ your way into getting the trading cards that are droppable through playing a game. Not all trading cards are dropped that way. However, the ones you can obtain with this tool can be traded, used to create badges, gems and what other things Valve will come up with. And yes, if you do well you can even earn some cash for your Steam wallet.
Regardless of what you intend to do with them, it’s worth it. And now, with Idle Master, it’s even more so since you won’t even have to play the game. You just leave the tool to the challenge, and it does get the job done.
What Idle Master does simple in theory (and, to be frank, you probably don’t care about the practical stuff, but if you do, take a look at the source code).
From it, you log into your Steam account and then leave it be. It starts simulating in-game activity and from that point on, it’s all a waiting game. Which should be more than OK since you can let it do its job while you go to work, school, jail or whatever is about to take away from your gaming time. The app scans to see if there are any pending card drops and sticks to a game until they do. After it does its task, it moves on to the next game.
While testing the app and writing this, Idle Master grabbed two trading cards. Basically, it made a few cents in a few minutes. If you think about it, factor in a couple of hours or a few days and you might have yourself enough to buy a great game that’s on sale.
Last but not least, admit that Idle Master paves the way to a particular form of cheating. But hey, worse things can be done. At least, at the end, a game developer actually gets paid for his work. And that with the help of a man who made Idle Master to be open-source.
