Chronicles of the Rift

Chronicles of the Rift is a playable game system, a pre-built role-playing framework that can be used with the Unity 3D gaming engine allowing to easily create, among others, complex role-playing games.

This gaming framework features an advance character creator where users will be able to customize the skills points, the morality and even the physical features of the character before starting a new game.

The modding community will be thrilled, as the system can be adapted and transformed so one can build a first-person shooter or a real-time strategy game a lot faster than he would from nothing.

A demo was created in order to show the real possibilities of this application. You will be able to walk around and explore the environment from a top-down perspective. You can access the map system, equip items in your inventory or even enter the shop of an NPC.

The fighting system is real time, party based and you can test in the demo as you can engage simple enemies or even fight the boss dragon. The games are supposed to be story driven, with players being able to choose the lines of dialogue from a dialogue tree.
