Way To Go! Bowling

Way To Go Bowling is a casual bowling game that you can play alone versus the AI or with friends to see who comes up on top. If the latter mode is what you prefer, know that the game supports up to four human bowlers.

In Way To Go! Bowling all you do is bowl. It’s not entirely about bowling like in real life, but the same rules apply for score and other stuff too. The game provides two game modes, Challenge and Head to Head. There is also Practice, but that’s something else.

Playing Challenge you will face off the best of the best from each of the multiple areas that are available and waiting to be unlocked. To do so, you will have to complete certain challenges, not just beat your opponent. Once you succeed, the new areas will be unlocked and new bowling locations available.

The way you control the ball in Way To Go! Bowling is different from other similar games. Obviously you aim and release the ball using the mouse. You charge up the power of the shot by dragging the cursor forward. The shorter the wait until release, the more impact power the ball will have. All of that takes a bit of getting used to but eventually it starts to feel right.

One strange thing is that you get to add spin to the shot while the ball is rolling. I’m not sure what physics consultant they had when they made Way To Go! Bowling but I bet he wasn’t all that good.

The only real way you can get some enjoyment out of Way To Go! Bowling is to play it with a friend or two, or three. This way you get to tease each other for how bad everyone is at the game or how bad or good the game itself is.
