Varmintz Deluxe

Varmintz Deluxe is a cute 2D arcade game in which you have to help a pack of raccoons make a run for it as they steal some golden eggs. They're known as the bandits of the animal world for a good reason.

In Varmintz Deluxe, you get a large number of levels that face you with the same challenge but carried out in a different environment. Each round leaves you in control of a raccoon, be it small or a bit fat, and you have to guide it to safety across a place that is full of dangers.

The little bandits have to snatch as many golden eggs as possible; that is, if you want to get the maximum score. It is an arcade game after all. In your quest, you will have to avoid being caught by dogs, people of all kinds, and you certainly need to keep clear of traffic.

Each of the raccoons has a different look and size, but they all move just as fast. You don’t get to choose which one to play as; you get them all but one at a time.

The little guys make funny noises when they bump into things, and they’re pretty adorable running around stealing eggs. Varmintz Deluxe is a bit past its days of glory and by today’s standards, from a quality point of view, it might not impress. It is, however, a nice little game.

As far as casual games go, Varmintz Deluxe is a decent one. Sure, it features outdated graphics but controls of the game are good, the gameplay is fast-paced, and there is a bit of charm to it.
