Learn how to count, differentiate between shapes and recognizer letters with this fun educational game #Educational game #Preschool tutor #Preschool education #Education #Tutor #Preschool
Kids are never very eager to learn school stuff, at least most of them. However, there are very few children who would say no to an hour of playing on the computer. Naturally, it follows that it would be a great idea to combine the two concepts somehow, and many have tried over the years. Unfortunately, it only seems to work for children under a certain age, and only if they are not yet familiar with GTA.
Panda Supermarket is a video game designed for preschoolers that aims to teach the little ones how to count, recognize letters and understand concepts like size, length and color. Since the lessons are so simple, the game itself can be very fun and amusing, which is what kids want anyway. As such, it should be easy to convince them to give it a try and maybe even learn something while they’re at it.
In essence, it all revolves around a panda family that visits the supermarket, but every aisle they visit is actually a new lesson the kids can learn. Whether it’s finding the missing letter, putting certain numbers in order or simply picking the right color, there’s always something new to learn and understand. Granted, the game gets old pretty fast, especially if the child who plays it is a bit more gifted.
The game’s main idea is that it doesn’t put the children to the test, in the sense that features simple questions that do not require a lot of thinking. In essence, most of the answers are very obvious or even implied, which means that kids shouldn’t get stuck on any of the questions. There are no points and no high scores to achieve, so it’s fine either way.
As for the interface, everyone should find it extremely handy and intuitive, regardless of any previous experience with computers or video games. Simple clicks or drag-and-drop motions are the only actions you need, so it’s safe to say that anyone can tackle the game. The graphics are quite nice as well, even if the game comes in a rather disappointing screen size.
In the end, Panda Supermarket probably won’t turn your child into a genius, but it may be fun enough to inspire his will to learn on his own. Moreover, there are enough levels to keep kids busy for at least an hour or so.
