Mayan Prophecies: Blood Moon Collector's Edition is a hidden object puzzle adventure game where players will hold the fate of the world as we know it in their hands.

The story begins a long time ago when a great evil was about to destroy the prosperous Mayan civilization. The jaguar God, an evil creature that sought only to destroy, ravaged a peaceful city. The only ones that could oppose him, the Moon Priestesses, barricaded themselves inside the temple and asked the Moon Goddess for help.

The Goddess help the women and the evil God was trapped inside a mighty dagger. Years later, the dagger fells in the hands of a Fernando Gomez, a wanted poacher and Alexis Dean, Petty Officer in the US Coast Guard, and her partner have to catch him. Unfortunately, Gomez manages to escape and the evil powers of the dagger take control.

After 2 years, Alexis Dean wakes up with her partner at the door. He is chased by jaguars that have invaded the entire city. By using detective skills and a keen eye for detail, players will have to travel to South America, and with the help of a young Moon Priestess, stop the Jaguar God from destroying the world.

The gameplay is sometimes interrupted by cinematic scenes, which blend perfectly with the graphics. You will have to travel to various parts of the jungle, underwater and in partially destroyed cities. Your partner, turned into a jaguar, will help you reach object you normally wouldn't be able to get.

With three different levels of difficulty and an extra chapter, the game is quite nice and once you will start to emerge in the story, you will play it until the end.
