Juno-Nemesis Remix

Juno-Nemesis Remix is an arcade shooter in which the action takes place inside a supercomputer that is threatened by a very dangerous virus. Your job is obvious, stop the virus from infecting the computer.

In Juno-Nemesis Remix you don’t move on one axis or two, you only move on the circumference of a circle. This means that shooting is done inside a tubular world, a cable if you want, or inside a cylindrical data stream.

Unlike you, your enemies will be able to move back and forward so apart from dodging their firepower, you’ll need to make sure that you don’t crash into them either. Virus chunks come at you in waves with increasing difficulty, which is something you would expect from any arcade shooter, but in this one, due to the nature of the environment, things get complicated fast.

Thanks to the shape of the battleground, your sense of orientation needs a bit of time to adjust, and we recommend you play using a mouse. With a keyboard, it will just take more time to familiarize yourself with movement.

Juno-Nemesis Remix keeps close all the standard features of an arcade shooter. Destroying enemies grants you points, some of them drop weapon power-ups, shield bonuses can be collected, and so on.

Also, at the end of a level you get that much-anticipated boss fight. Each level finally has one, and they become tougher to beat each time.

It’s a bit old and outdated but still playable

If you’re looking for a reminder of how some games used to look, Juno-Nemesis Remix is a good choice. The gameplay isn’t all that bad either; it’s a challenging indie.
