Jigsaw Puzzle Platinum, the last world of that title should indicate that this puzzle collection has a lot of good stuff. In reality, it’s that kind of word that you add at the end of a product to make it seem like more, when in fact, Jigsaw Puzzle Platinum is just a collection, a large one, of puzzles that come from several categories of images.

Puzzles are a great means of relaxing. Like with the real deal, you start off with an image that has been cut into tens of pieces and scattered. You have to piece everything together and form the original image, be it at your own pace or against the clock. There isn’t a countdown clock in the game but since the pieces are not scattered when you restart the same puzzle you can time yourself to see how fast you complete it the second, third or fourth time around.

With over a hundred puzzles to take on, you’ll have that multiplied by who knows how many hours of casualness alongside you. Even picking up pieces and placing them down is done in the simplest way possible. You just click to select and click again to drop.

Some puzzles will be harder to solve than others because well, as you expect, some images will be more complex than others. Jigsaw Puzzle Platinum doesn’t come with any particularly interesting features, however.

You can view a ghost of the image, which means that by clicking a button you can see an overlay of the original, that way you can try to organize the pieces. And another handy thing is that you can toggle to view the source image so you’ll have a clear clue of what you’re working on.

If you like solving puzzles, then Jigsaw Puzzle Platinum is a good game to have around.
