From the first to the last pixel, Jasper's Journeys is a platformer with a well-executed classic look. It doesn’t have retro-style graphics but the theme, the world design, the monsters, everything sends out the old-school vibe.

In the game, you play the role of Jasper, a little girl who goes to find her cat, Orlando. He’s been catnapped by an evil witch who intends to use him as an ingredient for her latest dark potion. In her journey, she will travel green fields and dark dungeons, all full of evil creatures.

In terms of controls, Jasper's Journeys is remarkably good. Character movement is intuitive, and the controls are somewhere between those from a casual platformer to something you expect in a precision platformer. You’ll definitely enjoy playing this.

The game features a few puzzles, secret areas to uncover, difficult jumps to make, and you even get a tiny shop in each level. Visiting it enables you to save game progress, purchase potions, and shields. The latter are very important because your character is kind of weak and if you die, you restart the level.
