Ghosts of the Past: Bones of Meadows Town Collector's Edition is a hidden object puzzle adventure game where players will get to investigate a small town where supernatural forces seem to cause strange deaths.

Take on the role of a newly assigned Sheriff who is appointed to a small little town where strange things have happened lately. Meadows Town is a quiet little village where almost nothing bad happens. When a teacher is found murdered and the Sheriff vanishes without a trace, you are sent to take his place and investigate.

After a little snooping around you find out that there are two forces meddling in the town's affairs. One is an unknown human that's trying to scare the town's folks, and he is doing a great job, while the other seems to be the angry spirit of a Viking shield-maiden named Valkiris, who is trying to protect her husband.

It seems that recent excavations have fueled the rumors about a great treasure buried beneath the city by the Vikings and in order to get it some will do horrible things. You will have to use caution while exploring the deserted village. The abandoned places are beautifully drawn and they induce a feeling of tension and anxiety.

The hidden object scenes are quite scarce and you you'll be surprised to see that are not made using the classical layout. There are tons of different mini-games and puzzles you will have to solve in order to continue the main quest so be careful which one of the three different difficulty levels you choose.

The fact that Viking legend and paranormal events overlap with the greed of humans is a great story line in my opinion. The multitude of puzzles, some unique, will really bring out the detective in you.
