Fruit Smash

Fruit Smash is a very light and very easy to play match- 3 game. In it you have to gather points by swapping various types of fruit for as long as you can.

Fruit Smash uses the patented click and swap mechanics to match the fruit. You click one fruit and then another that’s next to it, and the game swaps their positions. If the two pieces of fruit match two or more of the same kind, they disappear from the board, and you get points.

Unlike in the majority of similar games, in Fruit Smash you won’t have to clear the entire screen or reach a certain points count to go to the next level. Here it’s more about surviving for as long as you can because there is a countdown time of which you have to keep track of.

Fruit Smash’s gameplay is the standard one, but it also features a few aspects things that complicate things. For example, you have to fill the juice meter in under a minute or it’s game over. When you’re not swapping and making points, the aforementioned meter depletes so you need to constantly rake in points to keep going.

To balance things out, in Fruit Smash you get six super moves that you can use in dire situations. These have to be charged first by finding and eliminating a number of particular pieces from the board.

Once you gather enough and fill the super move meter, you can use them on the fruit. These take the form of a bug that falls and crushes the fruit, and you can set fire to the board or even use four mallets to squish fruit.

Fruit Smash is a decent puzzle game. It’s looks might be the only serious issue with it. Another can be the super tedious and repetitive gameplay. However, if you’re looking for something to waste time with, this is a pretty solid choice.
