Fantasy Mosaics 3

Fantasy Mosaics 3 is a nonogram game, a new version of puzzle that was invented in 1987 by a Japanese graphics editor and it quickly gained a lot of fame thought the world.

The story is simple: you will have to help an intergalactic wizard / penguin to rebuild his space garden after an evil wizard has destroyed it. You must journey to the very corners of the Universe in order to bring the garden back to its former glory.

Also known as Hanjie or Griddlers this puzzle involves filling out a grid with blocks by taking in consideration the numbers from the columns and the rows. For example, if a column has the number six on top, it means you must color six different, consecutive blocks in that column. By slowly filling out the grid, you'll notice the outlines of a drawing.

A game (level in this particular case) is finished when there are no more blocks to be filled. Take care and try not to make mistakes, because you have a limited number of strikes before you must start all over again.

The gameplay is quite simple: use the mouse to choose a block, left click on it if you want to add some color, right click on it if you want to mark it as a non-colored block.

There are useful hints you can use in order to find out which block is filled with color. If you run out of hint, you will have to uncover more by coloring certain random blocks on the grid. There is also a pickaxe power-up you can use and which will recharge slowly after use.

This is a new type of puzzle, but even so it as addictive as board game and puzzles that were invented hundreds of years ago. Taking into consideration the vast number of levels this game has, I'd say it definitely deserves your attention.
