Edolie

Edolie is a role-playing adventure game where players will have to explore a massive world while trying to complete various quests.

Edolie is a world where people live in peace, where magic and fantasy creature co-exist. It is said that this world was created after a dream, a beautiful dream of Lady Edilia who lives in a far away kingdom Elendia, the birthplace of Gods.

On her wedding day, Elidia's father granted her an amazing gift: a mirror that enabled her to create worlds from her dreams and so Edolie was created. People of this world were grateful and praised Edilia each year through a special festivity.

Players will take on the role of Willow, a young girl who's preparing to celebrate the Harvest, the special holiday when everyone thanks Lady Edilia for creating Edolie. Through a turn of events, dark secrets are uncovered and a discovery threatens to destroy this wonderful world.

Willow will now has to travel through Edolie, explore its hidden secrets and try to find a way to bring peace and happiness back to the people. She will meet lots of new friends along the way, each character featuring unique abilities.

Fighting monsters will be done in a classical turn-based manner. During a fight you will be able to use various potions and items in order to remove negative spell effects or to restore health and mana.

There are three different difficulty modes players can choose from at the beginning of the game: easy, normal and expert. The main differences are that monsters can be more powerful, monster can or cannot reappear after a battle in your area and the health and mana levels are or aren't restored when the character levels up.

There are quite a few 2D role-playing game out there, but what makes each one unique is his story. This game manages to capture the attention of players by introducing a simple, uncomplicated, yet addictive story.
