DemonStar - Secret Missions 1
A spin-off of the original DemonStar shooter that looks better and is a lot tougher to beat #Demon Star #Secret Missions #Space shooter #Demon #Star #Shooter
DemonStar - Secret Missions 1, what a shooter, what a great little arcade game. It’s a top-down view, vertical scrolling space shooter that offered a lot of reasons to fall in love with it back in the day. It was an almost perfect blend of arcade shooter with bullet hell gameplay.
DemonStar - Secret Missions 1 is one of the two spin-offs that has emerged following the original DemonStar game. The newer version had improved graphics, new designs, and best of all, a higher degree of difficulty.
I remember playing a lot of this when I was a kid and two player co-op was tough to the point in which it was excellent. It truly is one of the better arcade shooters that has surfaced in the past, and I might be a bit nostalgic, but few others have come to deliver such a good balance between being enjoyable and tough as nails.
There is a good deal of games from this genre that make things rather casual at times. Not DemonStar - Secret Missions 1, it’s going to keep you hooked and focused every second of every minute.
Just after a few minutes in, you start to feel the burn, as they say, because ships will come at you in the classic wave choreography, and it takes a lot of time to master dodging, firing, and bomb dropping. Projectiles will come from all sides and at times it’s easy to be overwhelmed as DemonStar - Secret Missions 1 approaches the bullet hell style of gameplay, sometimes.
In terms content and mechanics, DemonStar - Secret Missions 1 is a classic in all its form. There are three types of firepower upgrades, bombs to pick up, guided missiles and more. You and a buddy will often choose who takes the blue amplifiers or the red, you’ll patiently wait for them to change color to keep the upgrade streak going and so on.
DemonStar - Secret Missions 1 is a fun game, there’s no questioning that.
