Take the movie world by storm in this time management game that allows you to manage your own restaurant #Cooking Dash #DinerTown Studios #Time management #Cook #Cooking #Food
Movie sets are not the friendliest places you can be on, unless you are an actor or the director himself. The Internet is full of stories about how inconsiderate and rude the people from the industry can be with the people working on the set. Primarily, those in charge of the food seem to attract the most shrapnel, probably because everyone has specific preferences when it comes to food.
Cooking Dash: DinerTown Studios is a time management game in which your purpose is to serve your customers as quickly as possible, while keeping an eye on their mood and preferences. Since the entire action takes place on a movie set, you have to deal with all sorts of egos and troublemakers, although there are ways to handle them to your advantage if you are quick and suave enough.
The story talks about a young girl who decides to go into business on a movie sets, together with her grandmother. As such, her task is to serve everyone as quickly as possible, while also winning enough money to upgrade her restaurant. The levels get more difficult as you manage to pass them, because more and more customers start coming in after word gets out that you are good at what you do.
Speaking of upgrades, you can either spend the money on better equipment that works faster and allows you to serve the customers as quickly as possible, or you can invest in decorations, in order to increase the mood of the clientele from the second they walk in. After a while, you get enough money to afford both solutions, although you really have to work extra hard to achieve positive results.
As far as the technical aspect is concerned, the graphics engine is quite basic, especially since the environments and the characters look very cartoony. The character movement is basic as well, but the truth is that you don’t really get a good chance to observe all of this. After all, your attention is always going to be needed somewhere else, otherwise you might mess up an order.
When it’s all said and done, Cooking Dash: DinerTown Studios is certainly not a time management game for beginners, although it comes with a detailed tutorial to get you started. However, the levels get way too difficult way too soon, so you might get too frustrated to go on after a while if you are not experienced with the genre.
