Even if the food you can order there is not exactly healthy, it can undoubtedly be delicious, as long as the cooks know what they’re doing. On the other hand, the most important element is speed, because no one wants to wait too long for fast food.

Burger Shop is a time management game in which you have the possibility to see what it takes to run a fast food restaurant, by serving your customers as quickly as you can. The gameplay is about as simple as it can get in the genre, but that doesn’t mean you’ll have an easy time. Things get a lot more complicated as you manage to pass level after level, while the customers get more picky about their orders.

Your goal is to raise a certain sum of money each day, a sum that increases from stage to stage. In order to achieve it, you must complete the orders and try to aim for the highest tips, otherwise you might not make enough to move on to the next level. On the other hand, it gets easier to handle after a while, because you can learn to do certain things without thinking.

Although the story mode is the one you should start with, given the fact that it comes with a short tutorial to teach you the basics, there are a few other you can toy around with after that. Hence, you can undertake specific challenges, or even lay back and take it easy with the ‘Relax’ mode. Each one of these provides you with a different experience, which extends the game’s life by quite a bit.

As far as the technical aspects are concerned, the game features pleasant graphics, even if they are mostly static. There are a couple of animations you can admire, but they get repetitive in a hurry, and the environments are too static to make you feel anything. Thankfully, at least the music is pretty nice, at least until it starts to become annoying due to repetition.

In the end, Burger Shop is packed with content to keep you happy for a decent amount of time, especially if you are a fan of the time management genre. The gameplay is tricky enough to require a lot of practice, which makes it a blast to try and beat your own high scores.
