Break Ball 2: Gold is a casual and very indie block breaker game that is meant to deliver tons of levels with which you can spend a good couple of hours.

Break Ball 2: Gold is an arcade-style game which means that it’s mostly about the points. In the game, you face several levels in which blocks of various types are arranged in different patterns. Your goal is to use a ball and paddle to destroy all of them so that you can move on to the next level.

Some blocks require one hit to disappear, others more and some of them have power ups for you to use. Striking the ball with a particular part of the paddle can alter its trajectory, and you can even diss out some nice curve balls.

The power-ups you get in the game come in a large number, 26 to be precise. Some make the game easier by allowing you to shoot multiple balls, or transform the main one into a fireball that goes through anything. On the other side, some of them can destroy your paddle or shrink it, and others can greatly accelerate the speed of the ball.

Break Ball 2: Gold also provides six paddles to use, and each one is granted different abilities. It’s one of the mandatory features of a block breaker game.

To end, Break Ball 2: Gold is not a good looking game and some of the effects are outdated. In fact, most of the game is outdated but if you’re looking to experience an old-school block breaker game, this one is a decent choice.
