Bejeweled 2
Bejeweled 2 will warp you into puzzle ecstasy with four modes of jewel swapping action. #Match three #Puzzle game #Match jewel #Jewel #Match #Three
Although not everyone can get excited about match-three games, they certainly have a very large audience for themselves, especially when it comes to the casual portion of the gaming community. Their simple nature and basic gameplay mechanics allow anyone to have fun playing them, without having to learn too much about computers.
Bejeweled 2 is the obvious sequel to the first part in the series, and it brings with it a variety of improvements to the formula, while keeping the underlying concept intact. As such, if you have played the original, then you should quickly get acquainted with this new version as well, considering the fact that it’s basically the same game all over again. There are a few additions, on the other hand, which expand the experience and provide you with more ways to entertain yourself.
To begin with, there are a couple of new game modes to try out, each one of which challenges you to give it your best to stay in the game. The action mode comes with a timer you need to keep an eye on, because you lose if you let the bar drain out completely. A new puzzle mode has been added as well, in which your goal is to complete a series of challenges and find the solution to each riddle.
Even if the gameplay is more or less the same as it was in the first version, you should know that a few new tricks are possible in the sequel. Power jewels have been added, which have the ability to destroy everything in a small radius around them when you manage to match them. A variety of other power-ups and combos are now available as well, all of which make the experience that much more exciting.
Lastly, the technical aspect has been improved as well, which is especially visible when it comes to the graphics engine. Even if you still have to make due with only two dimensions, everything is much smoother now, while the gems sparkle and explore in a variety of new ways. The music has changed too, although it’s still just noise in the background with no real effect on the players.
Bejeweled 2 is exactly what everyone expected it to be: an improved version of the original, with more levels and game modes included. Hence, there’s no reason not to give this a try, especially if you enjoyed the first one.
