This is a way to learn Spanish... 3D Language Spain is a virtual Spanish town for learning and practicing Spanish. A robust speech recognition engine combined with a fully 3d environment makes for a compelling interactive experience. The developers went so far as to live in Spain to make sure they got it right!

Virtual Spaniards inhabit the town and wait for you to interact with them. The conversations are the heart of the program and take place in an interface called the VoiceBox. The VoiceBox makes learning easy! It contains both sides of the dialog in Spanish, a phonetic pronunciation guide, and English.

3D Language Spain includes 8 characters with multiple conversations each, covering the basics of conversational Spanish: pleasantries, directions, shopping, weather, and more! Game world objects are interactive, teaching you not only language but culture. Point at objects with your mouse to see the name in Spanish, or click them for information and to hear the word.
