3D Checkers Unlimited is a basic game that lets you play checkers in a simple and straightforward manner. After all, checkers isn’t a complicated game.

In all honestly, don’t expect 3D Checkers Unlimited to be something amazing, or remotely captivating. It’s just a game that lets you play checkers and uses 3D graphics.

The best thing about it is that you can rotate the camera around a fixed center point, enabling you to view the board and the pieces from any angle. If that proves to be a bit confusing, you can just opt to leave it in a bird’s eye view and see the pieces as you would in real life.

As expected, 3D Checkers Unlimited can be played alone, versus the AI or with a friend. When playing with the AI, you can choose different levels of difficulty for it which makes the game just a bit interesting. You can also choose a portrait for yourself or the opponent, but that’s just something you have because you can’t see them during a match.

One thing that got on my nerves was the fact that after the first two turns, the camera angle automatically changes for no selected reason. If, for example, you play with the white pieces, when it’s your turn, the board will rotate into a perspective where they are on the opposite side and not directly in front of you; which makes no sense.

To end, 3D Checkers Unlimited is not something you want to purchase. It’s ridiculously overpriced for what it has to offer and how it looks.
