Victoria English Patch

From 1837 to 1901, Queen Victoria's reign was one of the longest of any English Monarch and witnessed an evolution in English politics and expansion of the British Empire. Through industrial and military might she grew the Empire to almost double the size encompassing Canada, Australia, India and various locales in Africa and the South Pacific. Facing challenges both domestic and foreign, Victoria's reign restored dignity and popularity to the British crown and may have saved the monarchy from abolition.

VICTORIA focuses on six different aspects of governing a nation. These are interconnected to provide in-depth, yet easily manageable game play. Players direct their nation in the fields of Diplomacy, Warfare, Economy & Industrialization, Colonization, Technological Research and Politics.

The ultimate goal is to become one of the eight great powers of the era and rule the world.. This is accomplished by achieving global supremacy, by spanning the globe to become the dominant empire of the period. VICTORIA is about recreating world history according to the player's wishes. While the game strives to simulate the conditions and prerequisites of the time period as close as possible, it leaves all the decision-making to the player.
