Quake 4 Patch

Quake 4 is the latest release in the Quake series which aims to continue the story form Quake II.

In this installment you will follow in the footsteps of the hero who destroyed the cyborg enemy leader and are now tasked to take over the alien home-planet called Stroggos. The game is focused on the single player mode and provides multiple missions which you have to undertake deep inside enemy territory.

Quake 4 still features a multiplayer mode in which you can battle it out in classic Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Tourney and Capture the Flag style but with much better world design and graphics. As far as dynamics go, the game is as fast-paced as the predecessors and even adds a new slide mechanic that allows you to keep your speed when taking corners.

No matter how much effort and work is put into a game, it's bound to have some hiccups here and there and Quake 4 is not an exception. Downloading and installing this patch you are able to fix a number of problems that have made their way into the game.
