World of Warcraft Addon - Details! Damage Meter

Details! Damage Meter is a lightweight addon for the ever-popular MMORPG WoW that records detailed information and statistics about each individual party member's DPS during an encounter.

Down to the very basics, the addon is used to measure the damage-per-second (DPS) and healing-per-second (HPS) during an instanced PvE or PvP encounter.

If you're using the addon for the first time, you'll be glad to know that the addon guides you through a quick setup when you freshly install it. The tutorial presents to you the general UI of the addon, but these are aspects that shouldn't be remembered too much, since everything is highly customizable, from the way the UI looks to how it behaves.

The addon uses a DPS and HPS calculation method named Effective Time, which calculates values using the raw amount of healing or damage done over the whole time spent in combat. The method is very efficient since it automatically pauses whenever fighting stops, so as to not add any idle moments that could diminish the final DPS or HPS output.

The DPS and HPS values can be shown in both numerals and through graphical methods, with the numbers and bar size updating in real time in accordance with each player's performance.
