Since you will crash quite often, depending on the skill of the opponents, the multiplayer matches feature quite a short respawn time, which means that you are back in the action in just a few seconds and you can continue shooting.

To diversify the gameplay, you are allowed to choose from a wide variety of maps and locations, all of which feature different landscapes and terrain. Thus, from green plains to snowy mountains, you get the chance to crash into basically any kind of environment you might want. The game also offers you the possibility to change the weather beforehand, choosing from clear and sunny, to foggy, rainy or snowy.

In case you do not want to compete against human beings, you can always include bots into the game and play by yourself. The AI has received quite a bit of attention and there are multiple difficulty levels, depending on your preferences. As far as the collection of planes is concerned, there are twenty five models that emulate both German and Allied aircraft, complete with decals and distinctive marks.
