Virtual Resort: Spring Break Demo
Build a resort from the ground up, this time while trying to attract young students during Spring Break #Virtual Resort #Spring Break #Tycoon Simulator #Virtual #Resort #Spring
Whenever Spring Break is in session, young students from all over the USA are trying to find the best places to party and feel good, whether it's bars, the college campus or various other establishments. Naturally, businessmen have come up with plenty of ideas to make a decent buck out of this event, by arranging a wide variety of locales and venues for the young audience to express their happiness and consume alcohol in.
Virtual Resort: Spring Break is a tycoon-type game that allows you to become one of these investors and come up with the perfect resort to attract students, by placing a variety of party-specific constructions around your establishment. Obviously, the ultimate goal is to attract as many people as possible and make exorbitant amounts of money in the meantime, but the ride is half the fun as well, especially if you enjoy creating your own stuff.
Due to the fact that mostly everything you might need to know about the setting and the story can be found out from the title, it should come as no surprise that there are no unexpected events to spice up the gameplay. You can, however, decide your own route through the scenarios and come up with the desired building layout, in order to make each playthough unique and somewhat exciting.
The challenging part is to achieve a certain score on each of the available maps, although you can easily do that by completing a variety of rather simple objectives. After you manage to check every box, a new map is unlocked, along with better attractions for you to build and more freedom when it comes to the placement of the structures. It is worth noting, however, that there aren't too many different buildings you can erect, which means that the game can get boring pretty quickly if you don't find other ways to distract yourself.
As far as the visual aspect is concerned, the game does look good, especially when it comes to level design and object modeling. Thus, the environments are lush are detailed, while the constructions themselves contain a lot of polygons and they certainly look real enough. On the other hand, the characters could have received a bit more dedication, since the animations are rather lacking and clumsy.
Virtual Resort: Spring Break's greatest feat is that you can let your imagination run wild and put your ideas into practice when it comes to creating an attractive venue. However, the game at hand does not offer enough elements to maintain the illusion for long amounts of time and quickly gets boring after a few hours, while the replay value suffers greatly as well.
