Nature can be quite wonderful, especially if it’s undisturbed by humans. Some people enjoy taking trips somewhere isolated, just so that they can enjoy the silence and the beauty of nature. On the other hand, others do not seem to care at all whether trees or animals survive, which is why we have a garbage problem in almost every forest or park out there.

Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 4 is a hidden object game in which you get the chance to enjoy the vacation of a lifetime, while also visiting a variety of gorgeous places. There’s not much to talk about when it comes to the gameplay, but the puzzles and the hidden object scenes should provide you with quite the challenge, especially if you are new to the genre.

There’s not much of a plot to drive the story, except for the fact that you are joining a newly promoted park ranger on a trip all across Northern America. The characters also enjoy a few fun activities, such as admiring the scenery, having barbecues or just taking the boat down the river. Naturally, you’ll be busy trying to spot the required objects most of the time.

Most rounds have a fixed timer that forces you to solve the puzzle in a few minutes, but you can work around that by taking advantage of the hint system, or by playing in the casual mode. The latter also includes a tutorial, just in case you need a bit of guidance. On top of it all, there are secondary objectives you can accomplish as well, such as spotting animals, or collecting trash and recycling it.

As far as the graphics are concerned, the environments are static and full of all sorts of objects. However, the game still looks quite pretty, especially if you are a fan of nature. You also get to solve a few other puzzles, such as piecing pictures back together, or actual jigsaw puzzles. Thus, the experience shouldn’t get repetitive too quickly.

When it’s all said and done, Vacation Adventures: Park Ranger 4 is certainly a pretty slow game, which makes it ideal for when you need some relaxation. It features some very pretty landscapes as well.
