The Preposterous Awesomeness of Everything Demo
A point and click adventure with interesting artwork and really funny story and dialogs #Point and click adventure #Preposterous Awesomeness #Adventure game #Preposterous #Awesomeness #Adventure
The Preposterous Awesomeness of Everything is a point and click adventure with ridiculous graphics and an interesting storyline.
Point and click adventures tend to be more on the traditional side, so you pretty know what to expect when you’re playing one. It’s it’s a really good story then you’ll probably play it just to see how that unfolds, or maybe it has just a lot of funny characters. Adventure games are also about solving puzzles, and you’ll find plenty of those as well.
Sometimes point and click games don’t have pretty graphics, a relatable storyline, and only a sliver of familiarity with the regular gameplay. The Preposterous Awesomeness of Everything is just such a game that seems bad right from the bat, but it starts to get better as you play along. To make things even more bizarre, the demo for The Preposterous Awesomeness of Everything is more like e technical demonstration more than anything else.
Since players don’t get access to the actual game, only a presentation of it, talking about the story seems a little bit redundant. In any case, the story is about a primitive society that wants to build space rocket, and players get to experience their journey for this goal. At least this is what the only developer for this project is telling us.
It’s obvious right from the start that Joe Richardson, the only developer for The Preposterous Awesomeness of Everything, wanted to make a tongue-in-cheek game about some of the issues that we’re facing today.
From what we could gather from the demo, The Preposterous Awesomeness of Everything plays pretty much like a point and click game, but Joe added some new features. For example, players have access to a number of verbs that can be used in certain situations. You don’t get the usual tools like examine, talk, or use.
It’s difficult to give a definite conclusion, but The Preposterous Awesomeness of Everything seems like a very solid project, with a lot of humor, that is really different from everything that you have played until now.
