The Incredibles! Demo

Superheroes are a big part of pop culture, especially since names like Batman and Superman have been around for many decades, whether in comic books, TV shows, or movies. However, there are always new names that make their appearance, sporting a variety of superpowers and almost every kind of personality you can choose from.

The Incredibles! is a third-person action-adventure that takes after the events from the movie with the same name and allows you to personally take part in the events that unfold. Thus, after Bomb Voyage attempts to rob a bank and puts the life of Buddy Pine in danger, the superheroes are forbidden by the government to use their powers again, due to the large amount of destruction and havoc they cause.

Hence, Mr. Incredible and his family try to leave a more peaceful life, devoid of any dangerous villains or mad bombers that want to blow up the city. However, as you might expect, things do not exactly go their way and trouble soon finds them, forcing them to take action and defend themselves from the villains that just won't let them be. Over the course of the game, you also get to play with other characters as well, such as Elastigirl, Dash and Violet.

As far as the actual gameplay is concerned, everything revolves around your ability to beat as many enemies as possible and avoid being shot in the meantime, although there are a few puzzles that require a bit of brain power as well. Using a variety of combos and special attacks, the superheroes are capable of defeating dozens of foes at a time, although the difficulty level increases with every passed mission.

Just like the movie, the visual quality is more than decent, especially when it comes to the animations and the character modeling. The environments are very nicely made as well, but the controls and the mechanics required a bit more work, since it can be quite difficult to handle the characters in some situations and accomplish the task you are required to do.

Although there isn't too much originality in the game, The Incredibles! can be a relaxing game to play and enjoy, especially if you are a fan of the movie and you would appreciate the opportunity to relive the events and spend more time with the lovable characters.
