Survive The Zombies Demo

No matter how many zombie-themed games are released, we never really seem to get enough of them. Building fortifications and setting up defenses capable of holding back the undead assault is very enjoyable, even if it doesn’t always work out as planned.

Survive The Zombies is a real-time strategy game that puts you in charge of a band of survivors trying to fight back the undead hordes from inside a makeshift camp. Each session is played on a randomly generated map, so it should keep you entertained for quite a while.

Each game starts with a random map, in the middle of which you can find the survivors’ camp. Resources and abandoned buildings are scattered across the map, and you need to be mindful of zombie attacks while collecting and scavenging.

If you have the materials you need, you can construct certain buildings that your survivors require to stay alive, as well as watchtowers, traps and more. Defenders can also be assigned to specific tiles depending on zombie attack patterns.

It would be wise to consult the guide before starting a new game, as certain mechanics may not be obvious from the get-go.

Because everything on the map is generated randomly at the start of each session, no two games will be alike. You shouldn’t get tired of Survive The Zombies too quickly, although the limited mechanics do restrict variety.

Sadly, the demo version offers very little content, as you can only play for a single day before gameplay is interrupted. If you purchase the full version, there are two other difficulty modes for you to try out, including a War mode in which resources are no longer important.

On the whole, Survive The Zombies brings you plenty of fun for a relatively low price, especially if you enjoy zombie survival games in general. The demo doesn’t let you play for very long, but it does give you a general idea of what the gameplay is like, so just go ahead and try it out.
