Splinter Cell Double Agent - Singleplayer Demo
Sam Fisher is forced to play the role of a double agent and accomplish missions both for the NSA and a terrorist organization #Splinter Cell #Singleplayer Demo #Double Agent #Double #Agent #Singleplayer
Sam Fisher, the master spy that infiltrated basically every major terrorist organization and government facility in the world, returns in a new adventure, this time with a lot more trouble on his hands. In order to stop a terrorist group from killing millions of people, he must make them believe that he is one of theirs, by completing certain missions for them.
Splinter Cell Double Agent features a much more dynamic gameplay style than the previous episodes did, mostly because you must now confront with a variety of choices that influence the end result of the missions you undertake. Since the NSA and the JBA both give you certain objectives to accomplish, you much choose which side you want to please, so that you do not blow your cover, but also not give the impression that you've jumped ship to the terrorist side.
Moreover, the entire story line is influenced by your decisions and there are multiple possible endings as well, depending on how you handle the situation and which side comes out on top at the end of the day. Moral dilemmas can give you a lot of headaches, since you are sometimes put in the situation to abandon your stealthy ways, in order to eliminate certain targets.
As always, Sam Fisher now has a whole new set of tools at his disposal, including more grenades, sticky cameras and wall bombs, all of which have their use when the time is right. There are a few new weapons as well, but they attract attention and you do not get to use them too much, especially since they carry very few bullets and they quickly run out in a shootout.
Since the story takes you around some very interesting locations around the world, the heavily improved graphic engine is more than capable to render sandstorms, blizzards and a wide variety of other effects, all of which do their job and improve on the overall atmosphere. Fisher's body animations are smoother as well, while the enemies utilize convincing rag doll physics.
Despite the fact that the game features a bit too much forced action for a Splinter Cell title, Double Agent is very well made and it brings more than enough improvements over the previous installment. The moral choices and the multiple objectives available in every mission provide the gameplay with an extra layer and great replay value.
