In short, the goal is to complete missions by exploring the map from a top-down perspective and use your abilities to fight various enemies. Boss fights can be very tough to handle, on the other hand, so you need plenty of patience to make sure you get through. Coordination and precise combinations are required most of the time, and that’s not always easy to achieve on a keyboard.

Your character unlocks better abilities along the way as you manage to defeat the bosses and move on, but you still have to time them right in order to deal enough damage. Although it’s possible to use a mouse & keyboard combination, a gamepad is highly recommended, especially since the key bindings are rather awkwardly placed on a keyboard.

Lastly, the graphics can be a bit unusual at first, coupled with the weird perspective, but that’s only at first. You get used to all of it after a few minutes, and the environments are actually quite pleasant most of the time. The trick is to get familiar with the controls and camera movement, especially during combat, because you can easily be disoriented by all the colors and shapes around you.
