During the trip, you have total control over the boat's navigation system and you can steer it in any direction you like, as as long as you reach the final destination in time.

As the game clearly shows you, a huge playable area is available to explore, although most of it is open water with not that much too see around. Although you can freely roam around the world's oceans, the campaign aims to show you a bit of everything, by putting a wide array of mission types at your disposal. Thus, from casual taxi boats that need to carry a few people form one place to the other, to coast guard rescue missions and cargo boat deliveries, you get to experience all the pleasures of the sea over the course of the game.

Since water is practically half of your screen during the entire gameplay, extra attention has been awarded to its graphical appearance. Thanks to improved special effects and a lot of engine enhancements, this installment pictures water even better than before, with realistic waves and a convincing physics simulation of the entire sea.
