Shapik the quest 2 Demo
Solve quests and try to restore order on Earth after a nuclear war turns everything to shreds #Adventure game #Puzzle game #Solve puzzle #Puzzle #Adventure #Nuclear
People have come up with a variety of possible scenarios in the event of a nuclear disaster, as well as many ludicrous stories about what would happen to civilization if most of the planet would become uninhabitable. Naturally, the most famous examples include Fallout, Mad Max and a couple of others, but that doesn’t mean the genre has been exhausted just yet.
Shapik the quest 2 is a 2D puzzle game with point and click gameplay mechanics, in which your goal is to figure out how to solve various riddles by taking hints from the environment. As it happens, your character is not exactly human, even if it looks like one, which means that it perceives everything a bit differently. In fact, this is the bread and butter of the game, because it allows for some pretty interesting ideas.
The story is not exactly groundbreaking, but it’s pretty fresh in certain aspects. Hence, your character has just emerged from underground, after the world was mostly destroyed by a nuclear war a few hundred years ago. New things have grown and evolved on the surface, and you’ll have to interact with them and learn how everything works.
One thing you’ll have to understand about Shapik the quest 2 is that it doesn’t feature a lot of text, which means that there are no written instructions or hints. On the other hand, each level can be figured out by simply paying attention to each design element, because it should be fairly simple to understand how everything goes together. It’s actually quite a clever way to present the game world, and it works your brain at the same time.
The same is true for the graphics and the level design, because although everything is in two dimensions, you sometimes have the impression that you can move in 3D. Sometimes you move up and down the screen, while other times you interact with a variety of devices and machinery. All of them are very detailed, although there are some repetitive textures every now and again.
All things considered, Shapik the quest 2 is certainly a fun game, especially if you are an adventure fun looking for something new. The puzzles can be quite challenging sometimes, especially since they lack instructions.
