Seventeen Uncles: A Pug's Life Demo

Seventeen Uncles: A Pug's Life is a point and clicks adventure that challenges players to think differently about life and the choices we make.
This might sound like something that’s pretty deep from the a game that’s called Seventeen Uncles: A Pug's Life, but the title expresses the truth. It's about the life of a pug, but it’s full of bad choices. It’s a weird story, and it certainly hits the user like a brick in the face, especially since it starts pretty mellow.
Being a point and click adventure means that it’s not overly complicated to play it, and users should be able to pick it up and just start solving life’s problems right away.
The player follows the adventures of a pug named Kirk, who has a regular life. He has a steady job at a bee hive in the city, he drives a motorcycle, and has a beautiful (open to interpretation) wife named Dylis.
When he returns one day from work, he finds his wife sick at home. After a quick trip to the owl doctor, they find that she has cancer and has less than six weeks to live. I told you that it was going to get dark.
He arrives at home with his wife, and he starts praying to God, but he doesn’t answer. The Devil is more receptive, and he offers a solution. He can heal Dylis, but she will lose her soul. Kirk signs on the dotted line, and she’s healed.
They go out to celebrate that she’s not sick anymore, but she dies in a motorcycle accident and goes to hell. It can’t get any darker than this.
Gameplay wise, this plays like any point and click adventure. You can investigate, pick up items, and do various actions, and solve some minor puzzles from time to time.
It’s not the best animated or drawn game I’ve ever seen, but after I found out that she has cancer I started not to care how it looks. Also, the voices are done by the same guy, presumably the developer.
Seventeen Uncles: A Pug's Life is worth a shot and if the demo doesn't convince you to play it, nothing will.
