But houses, flip them, rent them to people who need a place to stay and try to turn a profit in the end #Real Estate #Time management #Tycoon game #Estate #Empire #Rent
Buying a house is not something everyone can afford, which is why the vast majority of people prefer to rent, or pay mortgage. Hence, the real estate business is always running pretty well, as long as the economy stays steady and people can afford to rent all sorts of houses. In case you were curious what it takes to be a real estate agent, this the game at hand tries to shed a bit of light on the subject.
Real Estate Empire 2 is a tycoon-type game in which you get to play the role of a real estate agent and see whether you have what it takes in order to become successful in the business. Although you start out with a modest investment, you can turn it into a lot of cash along the way, as long as you make the right decisions and luck is on your side as well.
In the beginning, trailers are the obvious choice, given their low cost and even lower rent prices. After you decide on one and you purchase it, you can put it out on the market and wait for someone to ask about rental. Speaking of which, you really need to watch out whenever you receive an offer, because the rating of the tenant is of capital importance. A bad rating can mean a lot of problems, such as an increased number of repairs needed every month.
Obviously, you cannot get rich with a simple trailer, so you need to buy more apartments along the way. Better locations and conditions become available as you keep advancing, although every apartment can be upgraded to feature better facilities. Hence, the rent depends on the building itself and the number of upgrades you have invested into.
As far as the technical aspects of the game are concerned, the isometric graphics engine is basic, but efficient. You can easily find what you need on the map and the user interface is quite intuitive as well, although there aren’t too many options to begin with. Jolly music tracks play in the background as well, but there are no voices or other characters to inspire some life into the environments, unfortunately.
All things considered, Real Estate Empire 2 has the potential to keep you playing for a long time, especially if you enjoy a challenge every once in a while. The mechanics are intriguing enough to keep you interested for a long time, as long as you do not mind the lack of depth when it comes to the financial aspect.
