Raging Tiger: The Second Korean War Demo
Tackle a potential second Korean War in this realistic and in-depth wargame, featuring real-time gameplay mechanics #Raging Tiger #Korean War #Real-time wargame #Wargame #Strategy #Real-time
The Korean War was brutal and pretty lengthy, with many deaths on both sides and the usual lasting effects, including financial problems and starvation. Now, everything seems fine in the region, or at least in one of the Koreas. There are still some issues concerning North Korea, but nothing seems to be happening anytime soon, although these things are never certain.
Raging Tiger: The Second Korean War is a wargame that allows you to simulate what would happen if North Korea went to war and attacked their neighbors. Naturally, a coalition is formed to protect South Korea and help them push back the attack, while some countries are required to reinforce North Korea’s position. Hence, a full-scale war is born, with many different nations involved.
The game at hand uses the famous ATF engine, which is also used by the military to simulate their scenarios. Thus, you can be certain that the simulation comes as close to the real thing as possible, although that also translates into a rather steep difficulty curve. In fact, it can be way too complicated for beginners, since it requires a bit of previous experience in order to make any kind of sense.
When it comes to arranging your troops and putting your strategies into practice, there are few things you cannot do. The game provides you with everything you could possibly want in order to prove your tactical prowess and defeat the enemy in the most creative ways possible. Plenty of realistic units and vehicles have been included, all of which are available from the get-go and programmed to act close to their real capabilities.
Since wargames do not usually put too much emphasis on graphics, preferring to use the CPU to crunch the battle data, do not expect anything too great in this case either. All you get to see is a 2D map with a variety of markings, which aim to provide you with guidance regarding the terrain and what kind of enemy troops you can expect to find.
In the end, Raging Tiger: The Second Korean War also comes with a built-in editor, which is powerful enough to allow you to create new scenarios and missions from scratch. Thus, the game can be the perfect tool for wargame enthusiasts, especially if you want to take advantage of the powerful ATF engine as well.
