Pylon is a role-playing game with action adventure elements where you will have to try and save the world from an impending invasion.

Being a story-driven game you will find out more as you play along. Travel to the world of Pylon, a mysterious realm where magic is still possible and that gets its name from the dormant Pylons scattered across the land.

Take on the role of a mercenary who's hired to steal a book, a book that contains cryptic knowledge about these long forgotten stone giants. They've recently come to life and they're acting like portals between worlds. Unfortunately, monsters are beginning through appear through the portal so it is up to you to travel through the Pylons and find a secret Rune, the only one that can close the opening.

The gameplay is quite classic: you will be able to use an X-box controller, the mouse or a touch screen device in order to play. The fighting system reminds a lot of the hack and slash action games as you can place shortcuts to various abilities on the screen.

Your character will gain experience by killing monsters and completing quests. The best part about the game is that you can have three different characters in one. A warrior, a rogue or a mage can be activated at any time, all within the same character. You can also try to mix them up and get a hybrid hero.

There are tons of different weapons just waiting to be uncovered, each one featuring different abilities and specs. Some of them even have empty gem slots you can equip and improve your character's stats.

Exploring the world and fighting lots of monsters will surely remind of a whole lot of MMO's out there, yet this game is only available in single player. With lots of different boss fight and even more loot to get your greedy hands on, this game will keep you busy for up to 10 hours.
