Operation Starcrusher

Operation Starcrusher puts you in command of the BlackStar spaceship, humanity's last hope of getting their revenge after the massive Constellation vessel has been destroyed by an unknown object that crashed onto the moon.

In search for answers about alien life, the Global Space Administration built a massive colonization vessel (Constellation) that was designed to travel to the center of our galaxy. With 10,000 men and women on board, the Constellation slowly made its way through the darkness of space only to find its doom just a few moments after leaving Earth.

Destroyed by an unknown object that eventually crashed onto the moon, the officials on Earth decided to send their best weapon, the BlackStar spaceship, against this unidentified threat.

Upon learning the basic controls as well as how you can use the weapons on board, you will start on a journey that might as well be your last judging from the forces you will encounter along the way.

The BlackStar is equipped with lots of cool weapons that serve different purposes when it comes to battle the incoming enemy armada. Besides the three main weapons, the BlackStar also comes with some cool features that can be used in difficult situations such as: a small drone (RAID) and two energy gathering systems (Rhomphaia Beam and Pulse Katana).

Besides that, the ship can also enter in a slow motion state called Focus Mode that allows you to efficiently dodge bullets and take out your enemies easier. The Needle Launcher is yet another weapon that you will be able to use against your enemies, but if you find yourself overwhelmed you can always enable the plasma shield that can protect you from almost any threat for a brief moment.

That being said, our hero will start on an epic journey through the stars, making his way towards the enemy's home planet in 45 action-packed missions. Along the way you will have to face the enemy armada lead by a few bosses that will do whatever it takes to stop you in your path.

Completing the main campaign, doesn't mean you've finished the game, as you can always test your pilot skills in 24 challenges, battle massive bosses in Boss Battle mode and collect no more than 78 awards.

Operation Starcrusher is an engaging side-scrolling space shooter that packs a lot of content to keep you occupied for a few hours. The game might seem a little complex at first with the multitude of weapons and buttons that activate them, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be blasting your way through the alien army with ease.

From a graphic perspective, the game looks quite good offering pilots lots of cool explosions and special effects that add even more adrenaline to the gameplay.
