One Bullet left Demo
Put your reflexes to the test and kill as many enemies as you can in this fast-paced first-person shooter #First-person shooter #Action game #Arcade shooter #Shooter #FPS #Survival
Sometimes shooters can be a bit too slow, especially if they feature too many helpful features or dumb enemies. However, there are still developers out there that strive to provide the fans of the genre with hardcore titles, some of which manage to include all the right elements. There’s a difference between difficulty and frustration, on the other hand, and sometimes bad design choices enter the equation too.
One Bullet left is a fast-paced first-person shooter in which you have to conserve your ammunition and deal with a high number of enemies at once. The difficulty level is through the roof if you are new to the genre, especially since you have to react quickly and make sure you hit your target every time. It gets easier with practice, but the levels keep getting more challenging as well. You start with nothing, not even a weapon, but there’s usually one you can pick up near where you spawn. There are multiple modes to choose from, but only the survival one is available in the demo, and it is as straightforward as it sounds. Hence, you have to stay alive while enemies spawn around the map and actively search for you, which is no easy task most of the time.
Even if bullets come in short supplies, your character can resort to other abilities in order to stay alive. Hence, you can heal yourself, as well as use some sort of bullet time to slow the action down and take the shot. It’s worth noting that the controls are very weirdly configured at first, especially in terms of movement, but at least they can be easily changed. The graphics are actually quite nice, at least when it comes to textures and animations. Unfortunately, the post-processing effects are a bit exaggerated, which can make it difficult to focus sometimes, especially due to the motion blur. The game is still in alpha at this point, however, so these things can be sorted out by the time the full version rolls out.
Even if One Bullet left has its flaws at the moment, it’s still quite a fun concept, especially if it is polished some more. The mechanics feel very tight, and the other game modes might be just as fun.
