Moai 3: Trade Mission Collector's Edition
Reclaim stolen artifacts and rebuild villages in this time management game with a few strategy elements #Trade mission #Time management #Strategy game #Trade #Mission #Moai
Time management games are designed to be both fun and challenging at the same time, given the fact that you have to move quickly and carefully take care of every task. However, most of them are also quite simple and repetitive, which is why more seasoned gamers probably won’t find them very attractive. Thankfully, the casual crowds are much more accepting.
In Moai 3: Trade Mission Collector's Edition, your mission is to reclaim villages, find lost artifacts and generally try to make life better wherever you go. The game’s mechanics are quite simple and straightforward, although you might need to think of some clever strategies every now and again as well. It is possible to make mistakes, but there is always a way to fix them and avoid restarting the whole level.
The story is not that complicated either, but you can nevertheless enjoy it. As it happens, you are a hero that must save the realm from evil and help people reclaim their villages from the enemy. In order to do so, the entire infrastructure needs to be rebuilt or repaired, which includes cleaning the roads and building new farms, mines, and various other facilities.
As mentioned earlier, resources are vital. Your people need food to perform certain tasks, while stone, wood and gold are used to buy or build other facilities. Obstacles in the road can also require a few units of stone to be removed, and you can even trade with special NPCs. Not only that, but there are also unique artifacts you can find around the map, all of which provide you with valuable bonuses.
Visually, the game looks more or less as sharp as you would expect, which means that it uses a top-down perspective and a very bright palette of colors. The isometric view is just right for the genre, but it would be nice to zoom in and take a closer look at certain objects. In fact, it can be difficult to figure out which objects are within reach when the view is obstructed by other buildings.
Even if Moai 3: Trade Mission Collector's Edition is nothing too special, the experience can be fun enough to keep you engaged for many hours. There is a lot of bonus content that can be pursued if you are willing to put some effort into it.
