Maggie's Movies: Camera, Action! is a classic time management game in which you have to move quickly and perform repetitive tasks in order to score points. There are not many original elements at play, but you at least get to enjoy some industry-specific activities. Your character works hard throughout the game to achieve her dreams and get famous.

As the name clearly implies, you play the role of a girl by the name of Maggie, who is dreaming of becoming a famous movie director. Naturally, she gets hired as an assistant director for a movie called Waves of Love, but things do not go very well. Hence, she has to tackle many problems in order to achieve her dreams.

The game gets quicker and tougher as you manage to get through the levels, but it’s also possible to change the difficulty level if you find the game too easy or too difficult. Keeping up with all the customers and all the tasks can get fairly tough after a while, especially if you are a newcomer to the genre. However, you do not need a perfect score in order to move on, so it depends on your self-esteem.

As for the graphics, they are about as colorful as you imagine, and there are plenty of interesting backgrounds to admire along the way. Granted, they can get fairly repetitive after a while, especially if you somehow do not manage to pass the levels every time. Thankfully, at least you can buy new items to decorate the shop after each stage, at least if you have enough cash.

Maggie's Movies: Camera, Action! is both challenging and enjoyable at the same time, which is all that you can wish for from a time management flick. Hence, if you are in the mood for some frantic clicking and you do not mind simple plots, this can easily keep you busy for a few hours.
