Every stage features a different layout when it comes to the maze and the pieces, and many other mechanics make an appearance along the way. Hence, some of the pieces can be frozen and immobile, while other levels feature walls made of sand that evaporate once you make a match near them. All of these keep the experience fresh over the course of the many available stages.

The mouse is all you need in order to make the moves you want, but it must be said that the tiles move a bit slowly, which might cause impatience. However, there are not many other inconveniences when it comes to gameplay, unless you count the somewhat unstable difficulty level. Hence, some of the easy stages are followed by very difficult ones, which might push you to quite a couple of times.

As for the graphics, you should obviously not expect anything worthy of an award, but the artwork is quite smooth and pleasant to the eye. You can also choose from a variety of backgrounds and tile models, which helps keep boredom at bay. Moreover, the soundtrack knows its place in the background, so it doesn’t get on your nerves.

When it’s all said and done, Legendary Slide can catch you in its spell if you like puzzle games, even if it’s not a very complex formula when you first give it a try. However, the challenging levels keep you busy for a long time after you start playing.
