Lantern Forge

If you've ever wanted to just wander around a massive procedurally generated world with various biomes while harvesting, building and crafting almost anything you can think of, Lantern Forge is the game you should play.

The story in Lantern Forge is a new one for every game you start from scratch, as the title will randomly generate levels placing our hero in a resource rich environment with all the things he needs to survive scattered all over the world.

At first your inventory is empty and you'll have to explore the area around to gather sticks, stones and any other materials that won't require the use of a specialized tool to harvest it.

As soon as you have the right materials, you can open the crafting screen from where you will be able to use all these resources to create tools, weapons, and armor.

Building a few basic items will further unlock new possibilities. For example, a Stone Oven will allow you to cook food, while a Stone Smelter will give you the chance to smelt ore into ingots or sand into glass.

Lantern Forge is a sandbox game that not only gives you the liberty to craft, harvest and build all sorts of items but, it also provides players with an extensive skill tree designed to improve your character's stats unlocking unique abilities depending on the skill tree you choose to focus on (Knight, Hunter, Mage, and Adventurer).

Fighting is another aspect of Lantern Forge that can't be overlooked. Exploring the world will give you the chance to encounter various dungeons and temples guarded by dangerous creatures. Before even thinking of attacking one of these locations, you should craft powerful weapons and armor by adding jewelries with various bonuses.

Lantern Forge has lots of things to offer for any player that loves an open world exploration title without being constrained by various goals or quests. Whether you will focus on harvesting vegetables and building a comfortable home or searching the dungeons for treasures while fighting vicious creatures, it's all up to you.
