Jigetiser Advent Calendar 2006 Demo
Put your mind to work and try to solve as many puzzles as you can in the shortest possible times #Jigsaw puzzle #Advent image #Puzzle game #Jigsaw #Puzzle #Calendar
Puzzles are fun and intriguing, yet too messy and annoying to be played in the living room most of the time. There is always the possibility for a piece to get lost at some point, which leaves you unable to complete the image. Hence, computer games are much more versatile in this regard, not to mention less messy and far less costly.
Jigetiser Advent Calendar 2006 is not exactly a gender bender or a trend setter, but it gets the job done quick and without too much fuss. The game is actually based on a dedicated engine and it automatically builds and creates your puzzles whenever you select them. Beside that, it is also fast and gentle on the resources, so you can enjoy it on almost any kind of computer.
As you might have guessed, the theme of the game are the calender seasons, which means that the pictures try to portray either summer, winter, autumn, or spring. If it’s winter you are interested in, then you can enjoy mountain top vistas, Christmas trees, and log cabins, which should really give you winter chills and get you into the holiday spirit.
In order to put the pieces back together, all you need to do is select and drag them around the screen. The controls are quite simple and precise, although it is also possible to select multiple pieces at once, which might get in your way from time to time. There is not much of a HUD to talk about, although this leaves more room on the screen for the pieces.
Since you are not allowed to peek at the final image, the puzzles can get annoying sometimes, especially if they feature too many pieces. On the other hand, this makes the challenge that much more attractive and it provides you with a lot more food for thought, at least until you manage to stumble into the corner formula and take it from there.
Jigetiser Advent Calendar 2006 cannot really be considered original, since it uses a different engine to create the puzzles. However, if your purpose is to have fun and you do not really mind anything else, this can do the job just as well.
