Iron Heart: Steam Tower fits perfectly into the casual TD family of this genre. Unlike in the hardcore tower defense titles, here you will only be able to place your towers in predefined locations, and there aren’t all that many on one level. Also, the number of towers isn’t all that great so tower combinations are out of the question.

This title proves to be more in the line of TD games that require very little strategy when playing. All you have to focus on is the initial stage, when choosing what towers to place first and where; the rest kind of falls into place. Once you get all the tower types on the map, and that is recommended, your only worry will be to upgrade them as fast as possible, and occasionally, which enemy robot to focus fire on.

Iron Heart: Steam Tower looks OK for its difficulty range and the implemented gameplay. It won’t impress with graphics and visual effects but it is relaxing to look at, in fact, the entire game is meant to be so.

Apart from the in-level tower upgrades, you can also boost their damage or lower their cost by spending some nuts. It’s all kept simple and accessible for the TD fans who don’t really want to play a complicated game.
