In Vitra Demo
Investigate a mysterious disease in the land of Vitra and battle monsters in this role-playing game #Role-playing game #Adventure game #Action game #Role-play #Adventure #RPG
Every fantasy world has some kind of huge crisis that must be solved before everything is destroyed, which is the main reason heroes are always wanted. Hence, this crisis can involve huge monsters, terrible curses, or some kind of evil wizards that want to take over the world using their powerful spells. Originality is not a requirement in the genre, but it’s certainly appreciated.
In Vitra is a top-down JRPG with turn-based combat and an interesting story revolving around a disease that threatens to destroy the world of Vitra. Your goal is to find the source of this illness and come up with a cure, which is no easy task. There are not many original elements at work when it comes to gameplay, but then again it’s nice to enjoy something familiar every now and again.
The world of Vitra is finally some peace and quiet after many years of bloody battles against monsters and other annoying creatures, but something new appears to put everyone at risk. Hence, a mysterious disease spreads around the realm killing thousands, and no one knows how to stop it. You play the role of a brave hero who goes on a quest to find a cure, although a few other characters join you along the way.
The combat is not particularly impressive, given the fact that it’s the same system seen in most JRPGs or games designed with RPG Maker, but then again it gets the job done. Hence, each entity gets a chance to make a move, which includes simple attacks or casting special abilities. Your characters also get stronger along the way, which allows them to learn new skills, as well as use better items.
The game world is three-dimensional for a change, but it’s a bit of a shame that most of the building models look the same, because it can encourage boredom. On the other hand, at least you are free to explore the maps as you desire, even if they are rather small and unimpressive most of the time. Not much can be said about the soundtrack, but then again this part can be ignored.
In the end, In Vitra is certainly not an impressive role-playing game, but it’s a regular JRPG, so you should find what you are looking for if you are a fan of the genre. The 3D graphics certainly help.
