Hitman: Contracts Demo
Explore the mind of Agent 47 and find out who is trying to kill you, for a change #Suspenseful missions #Agent 47 #Contract killer #Hitman #Contracts #Mission
The third Hitman installment brings forth a more personal look inside the life of Agent 47, as he finds himself trapped in a strange hotel, having flashbacks about the previous assignments and the murders he has committed throughout his career. Hitman: Contracts sheds a bit of light on the events from the first two games, by including some of the same missions.
In fact, most of the available missions are taken from the original title of the series, except for the fact that they are now played out backwards. Although this might serve the purpose of offering you some explanations about Agent 47 and his motives, the fact remains that there basically very few new environments and content in this installment, especially for those of you who finished the original Hitman.
Thus, although the graphic engine has been significantly improved over the years, the maps might look better, but they are still the same they were a few years ago. Of course, there are new cutscenes and interactive sequences that provide you with new content, as well as a bunch of brand new tools you can use to dispatch the enemies that happen to get in your way.
As far as the story is concerned, the main plot is actually quite satisfying to follow, especially since if features a lot of flashbacks, plot twists and returning characters from the previous games. Thus, you see some of your previous victims, as well as eventually get in contact with Diana, who has been you trusty informant from the beginning of the series.
Even if the missions are revamped from the old ones, there are a couple of new locations you visit over the course of the story, including the United Kingdom and Romania, where some of your targets reside. As usually, the environments are very nicely modeled, with a lot of detail when it comes to the objects scattered around the missions and the architecture that varies depending on the country you are in.
Despite the series' exceptional track record, Hitman: Contracts tries to get away with a few major flaws, as well as too much content borrowed from the original installment. Other than that, the Hitman atmosphere has been kept intact and you can enjoy the same amount of liberty when it comes to conducting the assassinations.
